Apna Gate supports society administration, resident and flat records, staff access, and visitor entry workflows. The features available to you depend on your role and your society’s setup. These terms describe the conditions of use for our website and mobile app; they do not replace a separate agreement with your society or the Apna Gate team.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials private, and use only accounts and society access assigned to you. Report suspected misuse to your society administrator or our support team. Keep your contact details and flat association up to date.
3. Society administration and visitor records
Society administrators are responsible for checking membership claims, assigning appropriate permissions, and keeping society records accurate. Residents and staff should record visitor details only for authorized society purposes and share them only with people who need access.
Before entering another person’s information or uploading their photo, ensure you have the appropriate authority and provide any notices or obtain any permissions required for that activity. Visitor approvals support the society’s gate procedures; they do not replace on-site identity checks or emergency services.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not impersonate another person or submit misleading membership or visitor information.
- Do not access, copy, or disclose records beyond your assigned permissions.
- Do not upload unlawful material, harass others, or interfere with the service’s security or availability.
- Use personal information only for the society tasks for which access was provided.
5. Availability and access restrictions
Service availability can be affected by maintenance, connectivity, or provider interruptions. Your society should maintain a way to manage entries when the service is unavailable. Access may be restricted when a membership ends, a role changes, an account is blocked, or misuse is investigated. Contact support if you believe your access is incorrect.
6. Privacy and changes to these terms
Read our Privacy Policy for information about data used by the service. This document carries its own version and last-updated date. A policy update or dismissal of the cookie notice does not record your acceptance of these terms.
